Guy-style alert! Tired ties get a new life with TieCrafters

The disposable culture we live in today reaches into many parts of our life, including our wardrobes. That's one of the things I love about Tie Crafters: [1] they opt out of a wasteful system and seek to make meaningful pieces better, giving a second life to that very important part of a man's wardrobe: the tie!

Take a look in the closet. Chances are there are some ties in there that are handed down from fathers and grandfathers, or maybe there are a few that were last worn at a high school prom! = Maybe their shape is a bit off, most likely they are more than 3.5" wide and just don't look quite right, or maybe they are a bit dingy or stained. = Instead of tossing them and buying new, send these heirlooms to Tie Crafters for a cleaning and updated cut- something between 2.5" and 3" is current but not TOO trendy.

The folks at Tie Crafters [1]can help you determine the perfect cut for your body--a subtle art form that pays off ten-fold.  (How often is "one size fits all" a true statement!?!)

To see just what I mean, take a look at the before and after photos below.  These ties are from the collection of a friend; some handed down to him from a dear neighbor, some purchased on a trip to Italy, and others just came from the '90s :)  All meaningful, but all un-wearable.
