Holiday Gift Guide: Liz's Kitchen Picks
Posted by Elizabeth Regalia
I'm currently in the new-apartment honeymoon phase. After a recent move, all I'm interested in buying or receiving are things for my cute little home. I've made great progress filling it with fresh flair, but the last room I'm ready to amp up with a bit of smart style is the kitchen. These five items are right up my alley.
1 I'm obsessed with mixing metals when it comes to my jewelry so I instantly fell for this gold/silver flatware set. I'm convinced it could make mac'n'cheese fancy. (Anthropologie Gold-Dipped Flatware, $38, http://www.anthropologie.com/)
2 I really have no need for a honey pot, but it would look quite cute on my counter. It gives me Winnie the Pooh warm fuzzies. (Williams-Sonoma Essentials Honey Pot, $14, http://www.williams-sonoma.com/)
3 Who ever knows how many cups are in a pint anyway? I certainly don't. This kitchen conversions poster would be both helpful and adorable framed over my stove. (SweetFineDay's Kitchen Conversions Art Poster, $28, http://www.etsy.com/)
4 Confession: I'd drink wine with every meal if I could. I love this simple wine glass rack with room for displaying my most prized vinos. (Pottery Barn Wine Glass Shelf, $79, http://www.potterybarn.com/)
5 Last and littlest, but not least: I want Santa to please stuff this wooden cut-out moose in my stocking. Just perch him on the rim of a pot so steam can vent and say good-bye to overflows! (Little Pot Guard Critters, $7 each, http://www.solutions.com/)
