
Last week we headed over to a tasting at the brand new Windsor Gansevoort Park. I can't help myself when it comes to anything John Delucie has touched! (Delucie's The Lion is still my favorite place for a knockout burger and extra-dirty martini in this city.)
Little bites like tuna BLTs and truffled grilled cheese were served with fantastic cocktails. One in particular I had to share is The Half Windsor, a perfectly balanced, not-too-sweet, refreshing drink designed by Ben Scorah. John was kind enough to dish out the recipe just for us!
THE HALF WINDSOR
1.5 ounces Voli vodka
0.75 ounces fresh pressed cucumber juice
0.5 ounces fresh lime juice
0.5 ounces agave (2 to 1 mix with hot water) syrup
1. Shake with ice, strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. 2. Instant party.
