Now that Thanksgiving is over, I'm officially ready for winter and this decadent eggnog recipe will get me in the holiday spirit. A twist on the traditional eggnog, this spiced, wintry-white drink is wonderfully seasonal. It's soft hue would complement a winter wedding palette, and it would also make a festive drink option for a holiday party. Cheers!
The Eggnog Cocktail (Serves 2)
3 ounces bourbon
3 ounces white creme de cacao
6 tablespoons heavy cream
1 tablespoon superfine sugar
Ground nutmeg, for sprinkling
Directions: Place bourbon, creme de cacao, cream, and sugar into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until frosty. Strain mixture into glasses. Sprinkle surface of each with ground nutmeg.
