Ever seen something and think, How the heck did they come up with that?
Casey’s sister, Lauren, deconstructed more than 1,000 silk flowers and then glued the petals together curtain-style to create it. We've made fresh flower curtains (like this carnation one), but I was curious how she came up with this awesome idea.
Turns out, it was an homage to the bride's favorite work of art, Jim Hodges' silk, cotton, and polyester sculpture "No Betweens." I wasn't familiar with it so I looked it up:
