This past weekend, the Martha Stewart Weddings team was delighted and honored to be part of the wedding of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively! Together with the couple and Tara Guérard of Soiree in Charleston, we worked to bring their vision to life. Ryan and Blake opted for an intimate, personalized party, gathering their immediate and extended family at a rustic barn in South Carolina. Ryan, who has been a long-time fan of Charleston, chose to mark this special occasion in one of his favorite towns. The bride and her bridesmaids walked down the aisle in custom Marchesa gowns designed by Blake's friends, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, with shoes created for the celebration by Christian Louboutin. The groom and groomsmen wore specially made Burberry suits with custom leather suspenders designed by the groom's friend, Christopher Bailey. The couple exchanged unique wedding rings by Lorraine Schwartz.
From the heartfelt ceremony to the fun-filled carnival hour and elegant reception, it was a truly enchanting celebration. We are thrilled to share the exclusive details of their nuptials in the winter issue of Martha Stewart Weddings (it comes out in December, but believe me, it’s worth the wait).
