Here’s a great idea: Instead of renting ho-hum napkins, create custom bandanas that can pull double duty as both napkins and nifty keepsakes. We created these woodsy inspired squares with the bride and groom’s initials rendered in log illustrations for a recent rehearsal dinner on Lake George. Roll the flatware within the bandanas to create a charming display on the buffet. Then, after your party, wash and use them again and again on the table, in your hair, in your back pocket, or for any other use you can imagine.
There are all sorts of online resources that custom-print bandanas. We love Pennington Promotions. There are many colors to choose from, and all of the companies give you the dimensions of the print window so you can create a design on the computer or simply hand draw one and then scan it. In our design above, we maximized the outside dimensions of the window to create a twig border, but you can certainly fill the window in with a denser design. These are a pretty cost efficient way of personalizing a casual party. A lot of charm for your buck, no?

Love the idea, already thinking about other ways to add on to this idea.
