Hello from Barcelona Bridal Week! I am in Spain to cover the Pasarela Gaudí Novias 2012 shows, which began today with a gorgeous show from Rosa Clara.
The show began with a range of white and ever-so-soft pastels: pink, sky blue, and a minty aquamarine. As you can see from the images below, the pleated silk tulle gowns nearly floated as the models made their way down the catwalk. Those were followed by sleek gowns with a mix of feather accessories that added a glamorous touch. To round things out—literally—big full ball gowns came down the aisle. But they weren't your typical heavy-looking ball gown. Just like the free-flowing ones before, they had a light and airy quality with soft pretty appliqués.
It was my first show in Barcelona and it was an impressive one!
