Our third guest post from David Pressman, the genius behind the stunning English wedding of Heather and Neal in our latest travel issue, is about one of my favorite things in the whole word: photo booths.
On the night of the wedding party, Heather wanted fun, fun, and more fun. In addition to amazing food, fireworks, and a live performance by the band Rollercoaster that had everyone dancing until the wee hours, Heather wanted more things to keep her family and friends from slipping off to their luxurious rooms and baths (more on that soon).
So while guests dined on an amazing Thanksgiving feast in the heart of the English countryside, Boothnation quietly slipped in to the front lounge and set up a photo booth before the post-dinner festivities began. Boothnation has supplied booths to everyone from Chanel and Tiffany & Co. to the Glastonbury music festival. It was a perfect fit. Heather and Neal chose a 1950's American design to lure even the most reticent guest inside, and the couple personally shopped for silly props.
Two copies of each image were printed—one for a wedding album and another for guests to take home. All the images went online and a CD went to the newlyweds.
If you think I'm understating just how much fun having a photo booth can add to a wedding celebration, check out these shots of our beautiful bride and groom and see for yourself.
