Are you a country girl?

I've heard of wearing cowboy boots with your gown, but a denim shirt? Genius! This look, worn by model Maryna Linchuk, would be beautiful at any rustic wedding. I'd wear the denim shirt belted over a strapless dress or pair it with a big ruffled skirt like this. Very different, but I love it!

What do you think?

  • Can you please tell me where this image is from or who designed her outfit? I would love to wear this at the reception of my wedding.

After some searching, I finally found it! It's from the D&G Spring 2010 Collection. Good luck!

  • Sarah,

Absolutely love this for my daughter who is getting married in Asheville in October. I have googled just about everything I can think of to find this ruffled skirt, without success. Any suggestions? The wedding will be outdoors on a farm in the mountains....would love your ideas for the bridesmaids, flower girls, ushers if we can findthis look for similar look for the bride!!

Hi Linda, This exact look is no longer available since it's several seasons old. But D&G is still selling denim shirts like this and BHLDN has an awesome tiered tulle skirt that's pretty similar. J. Crew also has some dresses with full, tiered skirts, like this and this so your daughter could always wear a denim shirt on top of a dress and knot it at the waist. Hope this helps!

  • I am a bridal consultant and just recreated this look for a bride. We did Mori Lee by Madeline Gardner Style #4816.
It retails for around $650, you just have to find an authorized Mori Lee retailer to do it! We tried it on with her denim shirt and she purchased the belt in the image separately online. It was perfect for this look!

  • I am looking for a belt just like this. Jillian, do you know where your bride purchased her belt from or where I should look?

  • Where can I find the boots?

  • I love this look! This is exactly what my bridesmaids are wearing in my wedding! I just got to find that beautiful skirt!!

  • Just wondering where I could find this belt or one very similar to this one? Ill be recreating a look similar to this but I love the belt.

  • Hi Jillian,

I'm planning a September wedding in Wyoming and am recreating this look, too. Only piece I still need to find is the belt. Can you tell me where your bride was able to find it online so at least I have a description to start searching? I'll do anything to find it!!!

    Thank you,

  • Search for tie front belt, there is a place in Hong Kong that is recreating the exact belt.

  • How and where can I get this Dress (This is My Dream Wedding Dress)

  • Like others here, I saw this look on Pinterest and have exhaustively searched the Internet to find this skirt without any luck. There are some cute skirts but nothing quite like this. The suggested skirt listed above just doesn't have the same wow-factor that this one does. Anyone else have any luck? I want to wear this for my casual country wedding!

  • I have to say I'm relieved I'm not the only one killing myself to find this skirt! It literally isn't available anywhere, at any price. I found my similar copy skirt on lots of the sellers will custom make things also. Send them a pic, you never know!

  • Has anyone found the belt online? I am still looking for it.

  • I have been googling like crazy trying to find a belt similar to this. It took me awhile but, i've came across several that were pretty similar if not the same. I found them mainly by searching for ''Ruffle Tie Belt''-- or anything along the lines of that. Also, i searched for ''Fashion Vintage Tassel Lace Elasticity Cummerbund Wide'' and quit a few options popped up. As far as the tulle skirt has seemed to be the perfect place to find them.

Hope this helps for the belt search!! :)

  • Can someone please let me know if they are selling this item or help me...i really want to wear this for my wedding dress!

  • I had this skirt recreated for me. Unfortunately, it's too big. I wore it once with a temporary hem for a family photo shoot.
I am selling it for $150.00, which is exactly what I paid for it. Please email me at if you'd like further info and pictures. The waist is 26" with the temp hem and 33" without it.
It's absolutely gorgeous and looks just the photo above.

  • This was in the 2010 collection from Dolce and Gabana. The skirt came in 3 lengths, above the knee, at the calf and long. I tracked down all the info for my new niece a year ago. EBay had one almost identical. I recommend you make your own. The actual skirt was ot as full as shown in this photo. The model is bunching it up in front of her. Good luck!

  • Can you please remove my post above. I've sold the skirt.
    Thank you!

  • I found a lady on Etsy that can make this skirt for $600. She's in Washington State. Ting is her name listed.
I'm having mine made though by a long time friend & seamtress in Mobile, Al. Her name is Judy Cleavland. $375.00. She makes wedding gowns so this will be cake for her.
