Like weddings, honeymoons don't plan themselves. But wouldn't it be great if they did? Sigh. One way to take some of the load off yourself -- and save money -- is to sign up for websites that specialize in travel-related flash sales. They curate pretty amazing hotel, cruise, and rail packages, in essence, doing a lot of the research for you. I've blogged about some of my favorites before, but there are SO many good ones out there that I thought I'd revisit the topic.
ideeli (that's no typo, they're not really into capital letters) just launched a travel section. One of the most epic deals on there right now includes three nights at the Kanok Buri Resort (above) on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand for $235, which is about 30-50 percent off depending on the season you book. Practically giving it away, right?
On Hautelook you could score a "Fireplace Shangri-La Room" at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa in California (above) for $260/night vs. the $425/night that you'd pay by booking through the hotel's site (I checked).
LivingSocial has an Escapes hub and this week featured a four-night stay at the Quinta Maria Cortez, an oceanfront bed-and-breakfast (above) just south of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for $424 total. And, if you're more of a thrill-seeker, they just created an Adventures tab that highlights excursions like surf camp, white-water rafting, and kayaking.

There's something about being by open water or a beach that just makes a honeymoon so much more romantic. Not sure if it's the sound of the ocean or the relaxing air flow, but it always adds a nice ambiance.
