Behind The Scenes: Elevating Filler Flowers
Posted by Erin Furey
For the Summer issue's wildflower story, we worked with Livia Cetti and Jo Donohoe from The Green Vase. They're my favorite florists! I'm in love with the wildflower arrangements we featured -- I'll be keeping those pages in my scrapbook for whenever my big day comes around.
Check out a couple of behind-the-scenes shots from the Summer issue's flower shoot, then read the whole story here.
1 How gorgeous! Take a look at these big buckets of baby's breath and heather.
2 For the shoot, we also used olive branches.
3 These uncured olives look better than they taste -- so bitter!
4 This is how we started to make the garlands.
5 Joanne Donohue of The Green Vase.
6 Here, Livia arranges the wildflower aisle runner.
8 Doesn't it look like a meadow of flowers?
9 Our super cute models Leah and Muzam get ready for the shot.
12 You know what we did with the leftovers? Gave them to Martha employees. They loved them!
13 Everyone went home with a bouquet after the shoot.
