When I first saw the work of Gabby from Cake Coquette, I was smitten (and suddenly craving sweets). I instantly knew she'd be a great addition to our special series. Gabby put together this ruffled confection perched atop a Danish-table-inspired stand. Along with great floral arrangements and hors d'oeuvres by Sebastian Parker, Sharla Flock, and Thomas John Events, this gallery of stunning images by Lisa Lefkowitz contains examples of all of their handiwork.
Sharla Flock created this bouquet using lambs' ear leaves to add softness. The raffia wrapped stems bring in touches of nude.
This sweet floral arrangement sits in a wood bowl. It's a great way to tie in the natural materials of the cake stand.
Thomas John created these small filo dough tartlets. Their almond, blue cheese, and blueberry filling looks amazing.
Proscuitto-wrapped brie with chive sprigs and a blueberries would be easy to serve during the cocktail hour.
