San Francisco-based stationery company Dutch Door Press has a unique style. Founded in 2006 by two friends, Anna Branning and Mara Murphy, the company produces a line of letterpress paper goods that utilizes a bold color palette, beautiful patterns, and imagery inspired by traditional folk art and nature. Their line of greeting cards, boxed stationery, and wall calendars are sold worldwide.
Here are some photos of a project they just worked on -- it's a wedding ketubah (a jewish marriage contract) for a bride in New York City. I just love it. The ketubah features a folk-inspired floral border in deep orange, pinky purple, and chocolate brown.
