The dress of your dreams might be just around the corner: the White by Vera Wang collection is launching exclusively at David's Bridal nationwide tomorrow, Friday, February 11.
If you're a fan of Vera Wang wedding gowns (who isn't?) and want to achieve that look at a lower price, these dresses won't disappoint. I've had the chance to see them in person, and they really hold true to the modern, romantic style Vera is known for.
The best part? The 12 styles range from $600 to $1,400 dollars! I wish I could get married all over again just to wear one of these gowns. My favorite is the blush one shown in the slide show below -- but if pink isn't for you, there are soft white, ivory, and champagne options as well.
Vera drew inspiration for the collection from the paintings of Edgar Degas, so expect to find slim silhouettes, princess ball gowns, and tons of draping.
By teaming up with David's Bridal, she gives every bride the chance to have her own "Vera" gown. As for the future of collection, the Fall 2011 line will include plus-size gowns and bridesmaid dresses and shoes, too.

I went to the preview last night and tried on the blush one (#1) and the v-neck (#9) and I must say I was really really pleasantly surprised. I've also tried on the big bucks Vera Wang dresses at her flagship store in NY and the quality was almost identical to her expensive gowns. The styles are very varied, there's something for everyone. I have to say, #1 is even more flattering on than in the pictures, and that never happens! I think anyone on a budget but with Vera Wang tastes would be happy to have one of these gowns, and I can't believe I'm saying that! About David's Bridal!!

I just bought the DIY issue today. I saw an ad for White by Vera Wang with 2 new dresses in it!...but I can't find those dresses anywhere online!! One of them is what looks like a bridesmaids dress and I LOVE it!!! Why can't i find it anywhere online??? I checked Vera's site and David's Bridal!!!
