One of my favorite weddings from last year was for a couple with an incredible eye for design. When they first described the color palette to me, I was thrilled -- it involved so many hues! They weren't afraid to work with cool and warm tones, a mix of soft and vibrant shades.
If you love color and want to bring a wonderfully rich palette to your wedding, consider this option: We mixed deep berry with soft apricot, blush pink, cream, and vibrant green hues. The final result was so beautiful -- it really captured the whimsical look of an English garden.
The bridesmaids' bouquets contained flowers in apricot, cream, fuchsia, and periwinkle to complement their dusty blue dresses.
For the centerpieces, I arranged groups of pink, blue, raspberry-colored, and peach-hued blossoms in ornate vessels.
The escort-card table featured a fragrant grouping of coral peonies, blue hydrangea, and fresh rosemary.
Are you struggling with your color palette? Don't be afraid to be a little adventurous -- you're allowed to work with more than two colors.
