Our wedding this week is straight from our nation's capitol, Washington, D.C. The reception took place at an art gallery -- though the original plan was to hold it on a farm in Maryland -- which the bride spotted and quickly adored.
Lauren and Josh's nuptials came together with help from everyone at The Hive at 1511: Ritzy Bee Events, Simplesong Design, and Kate Headley Photography. Add in some amazing flowers (all white!) by Sidra Forman and delicious food by Design Cuisine, and you've got an affair to remember.
On the same day as the wedding, Jon Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity was held on the National Mall. To commemorate both special events, Lauren and Josh's friend made a custom poster (see below), and it later became an unofficial well-wishes board for guests to sign during the reception.
Be sure to check out Lauren and Josh's orange and gray, late-fall wedding in full. And, if you're still craving more after seeing all of the photos, check out the adorable 8mm video below!

You forgot to add DJ D-Mac to the mix. The music at the reception was really important to Lauren & Josh--a crucial component. They wanted something different and fun; we delivered the goods!

I could never forget to mention the DJ! Certainly a crucial component, and I heard you delivered and had everyone on the dance floor! Here's some of that magic in action: http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/photogallery/lauren-and-josh#slide_31
