With all of the Kate and William royal wedding excitement going on, I thought it the perfect time to let you in on a little London gem called Brown's Hotel. One of my favorite clients (with exceptionally high standards and discriminating taste) hit up England and stayed at this posh joint. He was so in love with the property that we thought it necessary to share with you all -- in case anyone is scheduling their own British invasion!
Our client is planning multiple events in 2011 across New York, Dubai, and London, and location is everything. Brown’s Hotel, situated in the heart of prestigious Mayfair, is just a stone’s throw from the best shopping and sights. It's perfect for an intimate wedding, a bride’s getaway with her 'maids, or a romantic retreat with her future husband!
The hotel's quintessential award-winning afternoon tea, served in The English Tea Room and complete with soft, live piano music captivated our client.
After a long day of shopping and sight-seeing, The Donovan Bar (it pays homage to the celebrated British photographer Terence Donovan) is the ideal place for a classic gin and tonic! The hotel's restaurant, HIX at The Albemarle, is fabulous for dinner or small party.
And, if you need anything, anything at all, the fabulous head concierge, Simon Thomas (whose motto is “Leave It to Me”), will make sure your time spent in London in stress-free.

As lovely as Browns is, I am still head-over-heels in love with Claridges. So much more classy!

Claridges is always lovely. They are two very different properties each with their own personalities. Just a great place to keep in mind when you are planning your next trip to London. Happy travels!
