Kate Middleton and her upcoming wedding is certainly on many people's minds, but I'm most concerned about her DRESS! What will she wear? Will she stay close to home with a British designer or venture over to one of the classics. . . . a Vera, Monique, or Reem? If I could give Kate one word of advice it would be to choose a dress that flatters your body type. It's an easy mission for Kate and her toned 5' 10" frame, but the wrong dress shape can totally wreck your look.
Guidelines for every figure:
Pear shapes -- Stick to classic A-line cuts that accentuate your waist and float over hips and thighs.
Busty -- Scooped necklines are flattering because they frame your face and accentuate your assets without being too revealing.
Plus-size -- Stick with an empire-waist dress that doesn't have pleating and nips in at your smallest area.
Hourglass -- A-line gowns with dropped waists highlight curvy figures.
Short-waisted -- Princess lines (a snug bodice that opens up to a full skirt) will elongate your torso.
Another tip: The best time of day to go dress shopping and make appointments? A mid-morning to mid-afternoon slot on a weekday. Most people will be at work, and stores will be less crowded. You'll also get more one-on-one time with your sales person.
Here are some dress options that I think would look amazing on Kate. What do you see her wearing?

I would love to see her wearing one of Reem Acra's amazing dresses, love the elegance in her wedding dresses.

If she wears McQueen I would die happy.

That McQueen thing has got the be the ugliest thing I've ever seen. I think Kate has better taste than to walk down the aisle in feathers.

Definitely not the McQueen dress. The other 3 although are gorgeous they are not my idea of becoming to a future queen. Not exquisite enough.

To all dresses: NYET! Don't expect this bride to wear a strapless gown - as lovely as all of them are - with the exception of the McQueen number. She would not only cause people to turn heads but seeing his future wife coming down the aisle in this whatever "it" is, would send William screeching and running until he's out of London, the entire wedding party right behind him. Oh, the time wasted on this fowl gown...

They're lovely but she won't be in anything akin to any of them. Protocol dictates that princesses (and potential princesses) must keep their shoulders covered during religious weddings.
