Real Wedding Follow-Up: Katie and Colman

Posted by

Yesterday I shared Katie and Colman's wedding with you. Today, I thought I'd show you their equally beautiful engagement party.

Katie and Colman live in New York City, so they hosted a chic engagement party in one of my favorite spots, 632 on Hudson.

Working with planner Annie Lee from Daughter of Design, Katie's sister Liz from Linda & Harriett, and caterer Sonnier & Castle, the engagement party featured an intimate sit-down dinner followed by a larger cocktail party. Silhouettes of the duo appeared on the invitations, and in a few places throughout the event as a personal touch. And for all of you fashionistas out there, Katie wore a two-tone dress by Carolina Herrera and pumps by Miu Miu.

The lovely and talented Roey Yohai took photos throughout the January evening. "I was so happy we hired a photographer for the evening." Katie says. "We have amazing pictures of Colman and I sitting side by side at the dinner that really capture all the excitement and love that surrounds us, and wonderful pictures of our family and friends. It was the first time we were seeing many of our family and friends since we had gotten engaged, and to be able to relive those moments through photos is priceless."
