This week, we're sharing Rae and Noah's wedding, courtesy of one of our favorite NYC-area photographers, Dave Robbins.
We first got wind of this unique wedding from planner Xochitl of Always a Bridesmaid.
The navy and blue palette, mixed with antiques (both resident to the venue and from the bride's family), patterned paper, and some truly special details all worked beautifully together to create a stunning wedding in the late autumn of 2009. And it just so happens that Rae and Noah's wedding location is a venue we love so much that we shot a story there for our spring issue (out next week).
Check out the full gallery of Rae and Noah's wedding to see it all, including some fun DIY projects!

Enjoyed this slideshow and all the little DIY touches. The vintage fabric was perfect, lovely and on trend. Rae and Noah are adorable!

Cute wedding! Although in the slideshow there is an error, the first page says that the wedding was in the bride's hometown of Brooklyn, but The Metropolitan Building is in Queens, not Brooklyn!

Wow - this is absolutely beautiful! Anyone know where the rings came from? That's exactly what I want, but can't find it!
From: Shira Savada | 3/10/10 at 3:59 pm
Emmy, the rings are from St. Kilda.

This is a stunning wedding! I'm getting married in the Metropolitan Building in January. I always want to have long bare wood tables like they did for my reception. Can someone tell me where they rented these tables? Thank you!

I just love the decor, they may be antiques, but they have a retro and funky look to them.
