DIY/Crafts: Spring Is In the Air

Posted by

Even though it just won't stop snowing here, I've got Spring on my mind. I'm ready for the sunny days of May, and to finally see a bit of green. After a long winter, it really is the best time of year, and a wonderful season to have a wedding -- and these decorated favor bags would make the perfect favor.

To assemble them, you'll need two small paper bags, one bag in oatmeal and the other one green. Keeping the bag folded, cut off the top two-thirds of the green bag. Cut the grass pattern into the bottom portion of it (what's left), being careful not to cut into the base; unfold. Place double-sided tape on the base of the oatmeal bag and fit it into the green bag base. To make the butterfly clip, hot-glue an artificial butterfly to a miniature clothespin. Use the clip to close the bag and attach a name tag or message for your guests.
