For that bride-to-be looking to take her inspiration from the runways, the fall 2014 ready-to-wear collections presented during New York Fashion Week (going on right now as we write this) offered so many stunning options. A favorite trend for our editors Instagramming from the front row? Ensembles featuring bold beading on light-as-air fabrics. Delpozo showed one of the prettiest takes on the look with its baby blue dress with flower detailing on its bodice and a romantic train at its hem. Honor added in a peekaboo effect, with pearlescent blossoms almost seeming to float on the neckline of a pastel gown. (Check out this great video clip of the show.) Kate Spade put a luxe spin on separates with gold and feather touches. Marchesa also put its twist on the technique, embellishing a sheer top in such a way that it came to take on the appearance of a cable-knit sweater, making it the perfect choice for wintertime nuptials.
