Tina and Peter tied the knot over a summer weekend, starting with a sangeet in a modern New York City loft, with bold colors, a henna artist, and loads of bright decor the bride and her family brought back from a trip to India. One day later, and a bit further east, the couple wed with a traditional wedding on Long Island. With a softer palette (but still mostly pink), and a more romantic feel, the decor was perfect for the historic and picturesque location. Several elements were incorporated to honor the bride's heritage, including a beautiful mandap for their outdoor ceremony and a white horse entrance for the groom, in addition to the traditional details like a simple white buttercream cake and elegant seated dinner.
