Make your vows last long beyond your wedding day with this sweet idea

Posted by

Meaghan and Conrad's wedding was pretty dreamy. The ferns, the fall atmosphere, the views! Not to mention the personal touches. Two of our favorite details (but really, how could you choose?) were the mini Velvet Raptor custom vow books that matched their stationery suite by Sesame Letterpress and housed the sweetest exchange between the bride and groom during their touching ceremony, and the postcards that doubled as a guest book.

Below are snapshots of each page of the booklets. If you're writing your own vows like this bride and groom, consider getting them calligraphed as keepsakes. These Anne Robin-penned pieces currently live front and center on the pair's dining table.

Another great thing Meaghan and Conrad did was to set out postcards made using images from a favorite book for guests to sign. These sit in a dish they received as a wedding present in their living room. They occasionally dip into them to revisit the big day. This was Conrad's idea, and Meaghan likes that they're not tucked away and rarely seen, but instead out there as a happy reminder.

A final update from these newlyweds... The stunner of an engagement ring (an Edwardian cluster ring from 1905) that Conrad popped the question with was paired with a complimenting rose gold band during the ceremony. This thoughtful hubby gifted his wife a matching band with a single baguette as a birthday present. Love it!

  • Love, love, love the vow books and how they can be kept front and center in the couple's home. Such a great reminder of their big day and of the vows they made to one another. Wonderful idea!
