Cassandra and Jess tied the knot in a truly personalized California wedding. It celebrated their union by showcasing a common theme of "US"—referring to the couple as a unit, but also the initials for their last names.
The duo planned their wedding on a Friday to have an extended weekend with friends and family. Thursday was a welcome drinks and dessert, followed by the ceremony and reception the following day. Saturday morning they had a greasy-spoon brunch at famous Gott's Roadside next to Oxbow in Napa. They capped the weekend off with a sunrise hot-air ballooning excursion over Napa Valley (via Napa Valley Balloons at Domaine Chandon Winery) with friends and photographers. The final event was an oyster shucking party in Tomales Bay at Hog Island Oyster Farm where they shucked, ate their fill of cheese and reminisced on the entire wedding weekend. It was an absolute blast!
Another fun tidbit? The day the couple picked up the necessary documents so they could legally become Mr. and Mrs.
We were so excited to pick-up our marriage license at the beautiful and historic San Francisco City Hall. It is a tremendously special building. My dad, Jim Santor, who is a former professional photographer, came along to photograph the afternoon and see us through the event. After taking some portraits on the steps and collecting our license we enjoyed lunch at a local cafe with champagne to celebrate! --Cassandra
