REAL WEDDING: Lisa & David Cork, Ireland
Posted by Shira Savada
Lucky in love—and in love in Ireland—Lisa and David tied the knot in a beautiful and fun-packed destination wedding in County Cork. Working closely with their venue, Ballyvolane House, they created a day to remember, with a few DIY touches, loads of classic appeal, and some seriously chic fashion.
1 David gave Lisa a thoughtful grouping of gifts: white Ray-Ban Wayfarers for a bridal way to block the flashing bulbs, a Tom Ford fragrance she'd been lusting over, the latest Mumford & Sons album to listen to while she got ready, and a card with a private message.
2 Can't you just feel the emotion of this moment, when the bride and groom first saw each other in their wedding finery?
3 Instead of a traditional day-after brunch, the party continued with a next-day "Disco Lunch," complete with awesome music to keep in a celebratory spirit (and to help shake their hangovers).
4 On their first full day as husband and wife, Lisa and David looked spectacular. Her sunny dress is by Maje, while her sapphire blue heels are Manolo Blahniks.
These photos by photographer Katie Stoops are just a taste. To see the wedding in full, check out our gallery of Lisa and David's big day right here.
