I was excited to host a small luncheon to celebrate our cover girl Erin Fetherston and her new bridal lingerie line with one our favorites, Cosabella. The lunch was held at Willow Road not far from our offices. Not only was the food delicious, but the whimsical, somewhat Great Gatsy-esque décor complemented Erin's dreamy aesthetic perfectly. And like all the parties we throw, we did our best to fill it with details customized to enhance the day.
Since music is such an important part of any party, Carte Blanche, a six-piece jazz ensemble repped by Elan Artists, played American, French, and Latin standards from the 1920s through the '40s. The all-white flower arrangements were designed by our talented contributing editor, event and floral designer Matthew Robbins. For dessert, One Girl Cookies recreated our cake bar from the Fall 2013 Make A Statement story, but in all white. To finish it off, we made custom favors that incorporated my sketch of lingerie, printed by Smitten on Paper, wrapped around a box created by stationer extraordinaire Cheree Berry. Deborah Nadel calligraphed my message onto the tags, and I filled the boxes with One Girl Cookies sandwich cookies inspired by detailing seen on pieces in Erin's lingerie collection.
And who couldn't love the idea of fried chicken at a bash for lingerie? Check out the images from this fabulous fête, below!
