A Bit of Patriotic Spirit

Posted by

'Tis the season for red, white, and blue. Maybe you're getting married over the holiday weekend (like this couple did), or maybe you're just having a fun gathering. Below, some ideas for either!

Though Bonne Maman spreads are French, the packaging is so American with the glass jars and gingham lids, you really can't go wrong. Not only are these tasty (my new favorite is the Golden Plum Mirabelle flavor) but they make for great decor. I'd set up a cheese station with a few of these tasty options!

Speaking of cheese... get your stripe on with one of my favorites, Humboldt Fog. It's a goat cheese with a bit of bite, and a total crowd pleaser. Great for cocktail hour!

Need your "something blue"? I am loving Essie's Bouncer, It's Me! nail polish on my toes. Super vivid and super pretty.

It's summer, so it's sunny. Protect your eyes and look chic, whether you're a beach bum or a bride in these Purrfect Sunnies by Kate Spade Saturday. The white frames have just the right amount of retro.

Tie on some flair with this red-and-white striped ribbon via MJ Trim. Tie it around your bouquet or cinch your dress in with this belt alternative.

Add some star power to your hair with Ban.do's Drinking the Stars comb. It's out of this world, but the price is totally down-to-earth.

These patriotic paper cocktail napkins from Martha Celebrations definitely hit the mark for a star-spangled soiree.

Serve up your cakes, cupcakes, or even hot dogs on this modern cake stand by Jansen and Co., which you might recognize from here.

Get in the spirit with Fatty Sundays & Co.'s American Flag white chocolate and sprinkle-covered pretzel sticks.
