Real Weddings: Erin and David, St. Paul, Minnesota

Posted by

Library weddings. There's something so cool about them. I think it's because you're surrounded by so many amazing books and are letting loose in a place where you'd normally have to keep quiet and just read. For Erin and David, the James J. Hill library in St. Paul, was the perfect setting. Afterall, he was an English major and has a serious passion for literature, and she's a big reader too. They added polka dots, wove in navy blue touches, and embraced their location in full force. Thanks to event planner and designer Gretchen Culver of Rocket Science Weddings & Events, they created a wedding to remember, which you can see courtesy of photos by Becca Dilley Photography.

  • First time I've ever seen this idea. Would be perfect for certain couples. So unique!

  • They did a great job with the library/literary details. Every time I saw a picture I kept thinking "that's my favorite detail." (Until I saw the next picture!) I really like that it showed a wedding in a non-traditional setting. Thanks for sharing!

  • A beautiful wedding for two beautiful people. Wishing them a lifetime of love & looking forward to their little bundle of joy!
