Bridal Market Begins: David's Bridal
Posted by Carrie Goldberg
It's official! Bridal Market has begun and with it comes talk of trends, inspiration, and springing ahead into the new season. We paid a visit to David's Bridal's presentation on the first day of market to see what they have planned for fall 2013. Among their new additions, we swooned over the 1920's and '30s themes, as well as their love for metallics, prints, and texture.
1 We loved this gown with a Downton Abbey feel. The best part? You can score it for under $1,000!
2 David's design team walked us through their process from start to finish. We loved their inspiration boards for 2014!
3 We spy... ourselves! Loved seeing a shot from our Spring 2012 fashion story "Wonders in White" on the David's Bridal inspiration board!
4 Business in the front...
5 Party in the back! We were floored by this chiffon stunner in a sangria color whose ruffled back evoked the color and concept of Jen Garner's Gucci gown from this year's Academy Awards.
6 Slinky and sweet, this sheath was romantic with abstract floral appliques but is sure to show off your curves.
7 A new look for David's Bridal? Metallics! How stellar is this gold gilded lace gown?
8 Take a closer look!
9 Have your gown and looking for affordable ways to top it off? We loved this Gatsby-esque piece.
