  • Blogger Diana Moss put together some nice thoughts on weddings. A nice budget-friendly idea she had is to wear a vintage wedding dress. See all of the ideas.

  • National Geographic has a great new Tumblr. Check it our for amazing archive photos like this one of former soldiers studying cake decorating at a vocational school in Puerto Rico circa April 1951.

  • Our pals at Confetti System (who helped us create this fun fringe story) have an awesome exhibit, "100 Arrangements", at MomMA PS1 where you can become immersed in their shiny, happy paper world. Hurry: It closes March 31 (Sunday!).

  • While I don't think I would've been a brave enough soul to attempt a Calvin and Hobbes themed wedding, my hat goes off to those that did! However, I am a big fan of those that think 'outside the box' and choose to do themed weddings. I have seen some really creative themes and venues that are a real treat for guests to attend. I also love when the bride and groom incorporate kids into their wedding planning. It really adds a sense of family and youthful spirit!
