Enjoy Events Co. is a planning and design company based out of the Bay Area. They like to think that they do things a little differently, taking pride in providing planning and design for the seeker of all things fresh, unique, and fun.
The scoop/inspiration for their pink project (photographed by Delbarr Moradi) was based around the idea of highlighting pretty blooms with a playful vibe by using handmade Valentine's Day props such as fabric hearts and bows and arrows. The color pink comes out in the flowers, with the opportunity to maximize or minimize the pretty hue however your heart desires.
We wanted to create free-flowing, organic arrangements and a pretty bouquet. One arrangement was set in a vintage milk glass vase with the flowers cascading down the sides. The other arrangement was set in a clear vase with iridescent "polka dots". Going along with the playful take on Valentine's Day, we made a few fabric hearts using pastel pink and orange striped fabric. We also created a bow and arrows using pink, gold, white, and fuchsia paint to tie back in with the flowers. Using the hearts, bow, and arrows we set up an "installation" of hanging arrows cascading down to the heart like a "target". This was part of the backdrop along with the pastel stripes we used.
