Betsy and Nick's wedding took place in the heartland and tugged at the heartstrings. Their Kansas nuptials were all about celebrating with loved ones. They wed in the same church as many of the bride's relatives, and partied 'til the cows came home at her uncle's farm. Their entrance to the reception was atop an antique tractor that drove through the pasture as Kenny Chesney's "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" played on the speakers. Betsy's grandfather gave a blessing before the meal and the couple counted their blessings all night long, as it was only a few months into their engagement when Betsy was diagnosed with cancer. Nick stood by her side and proved himself the truest of support systems (and husband material). They made a donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in lieu of take-home favors, since the take-away from the day was being together on the festive occasion.
