Last night's much anticipated Academy Awards had celebrities transforming the carpet into their very own aisle—did you see all the ivory and pale toned gowns? And while some, like Anne Hathaway, sported uncharacteristically slim silhouettes fit for the fashion conscious minimalist, others opted for straightforward glamorous gowns paired with ladylike accessories that managed to pack punch. After much deliberating, here are my six favorites from the red carpet.

6 Designer Georgina Chapman of Marchesa, in Marchesa, and her husband, producer Harvey Weinstein.
