Last week, I went shopping for wedding invitations with a client, and we went to visit the CONNOR showroom on the 9th floor of Barney’s New York. We fell madly in love with the books of vintage monograms that are in the company’s archives, and I know that those would make a fabulous jumping off point for developing contemporary wedding stationary. Henri is the designer of the team, and he will literally hand-draw your monogram, inspired by the vintage pieces that have been hand-engraved. The detail, quality, and color are so special that I thought you might enjoy a peek at the magic inside those archives here. Of course, the art is very small, so the photos don’t quite showcase their magic, but Justin at Connor is super helpful, and I am sure he would be happy to show these off in person. These are the kinds of invitations that you keep forever—mini works of art.

Love the vintage look and feel. These monograms would also be great to carry over to napkins, menus and more.
