It's 2013 and you're planning a wedding! Though our new issue is out (did you pick it up or download it yet?), and our site is chock full of info and inspiration, there are also great books to consider as well.
Alison Hotchkiss of Alison Events (we recently featured one of her fetes in Mexico) just published her second tome about planning. This one's got all sorts of helpful tips and info, and comes in binder format, so you can add to it as you go along. Plus, it was designed by the very talented Hello!Lucky, so it's beautiful! Pick up a copy of "All the Essentials: Wedding Planner" and enjoy.
Another great planner has something hot off the press. The girls of Bash, Please (they did this awesome California celebration) have filled pages and pages with inspiring weddings that have plenty of personality. "New-Fashioned Wedding" will get your wedding gears going for sure.
If you're looking for some vintage flair, look no further than Elizabeth Demos' "Vintage Wedding Style". It's a fun one to flip through, and one of our favorite weddings included is that of an old intern (yay Holly!). Lots of DIY and resources in these pages!
All you type lovers will enjoy stationer and designer Nancy Sharon Collins' book, "The Complete Engraver" which details the history of the engraving process all the while showing amazing monograms, cyphers, and type specimens.
