Do know about Wantful [2]? It's a cool website that acts as a present-giving wizard. After you answer a series of simple questions (who are you buying for? what's the occasion?) the site makes gift recommendations.
You may have seen another great aspect of the site in our latest issue [3]. We used it to create the custom bridesmaid catalogs [4] above. After answering questions about each gal’s personality and style, the site will create a booklet of 16 taste-specific wares—from jewelry to décor—for each BFF (sans prices, of course). Then, the custom catalogs are mailed to your pals, and they order their favorite item. The fine print: You pay the cost of the goods (prices start at $30) and $5 per book
