To create these festive lanterns and jars, we laid pieces of lace over colored paper and coated it with clear spray paint. The resulting two-toned relief highlights the design of your fabric, which can be reused like a stencil. For this project, we used a mix of vintage and designer fabrics from one of our favorite sources, Mood Fabrics. Spray the prints onto sheets of paper, then cut them out and fold in to cones. Use the scraps from that project as wraps for the containers, which would make any candy buffet look more inviting.

A new idea I haven't seen before- nice change from the usual round hanging lanterns. Very crafty and fun!
