If one look at this cocktail makes you want to start your weekend early, I don't blame you. This Satsuma and Pomegranate Chiller, concocted for us by Naomi Robinson at Bakers Royale, combines delicious seasonal fruits with vibrant colors and is sure to impress your winter wedding guests. The satsuma, a sweet citrus fruit, complements the pomegranate's tartness and balances out the Campari's bitter taste, resulting in a flavorful cocktail that is sophisticated enough to be your signature wedding drink, but subtle enough for easy sipping at a bridal shower or cocktail party. Cheers!
The Satsuma and Pomegranate Chiller (Serves 2)
8 oz. fresh-squeezed satsuma juice
4 oz. pomegranate juice (either whole pomegranates crushed and strained or POM juice)
2 oz. Campari
1 oz. simple syrup
Directions: Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour the satsuma juice over the ice and set aside. Add the pomegranate juice, simple syrup, and Campari into a cocktail shaker and shake until combined. Pour the mixture over the satsuma juice and serve immediately.
