Every year, we throw the ultimate party during bridal market to toast our industry in a fun and festive way. Like all of our weddings, we personalize our party with a theme and this year, it was all about white. We had white tulle hanging from the ceiling, white mini pizzas by Callahan Catering, and even white temporary tattoos from Tattly. As we were planning the food and decor, a member of our team mentioned that someone should really get married at our party because everything they need would already be there! And funnily enough, a few weeks before the party, we heard about Alex Pelling and Lisa Gant and were so inspired by their story and love for one another—not to mention the fact that their registry benefits UNICEF—that we reached out to see if they would like to have their 26th wedding at our party on 26th Street in New York. The couple had yet to be married in New York and are fans of Martha so they jumped at the opportunity to work with us.
When we called them to figure out how we can personalize their wedding, the one word or theme they kept repeating was "New York." So, from the chocolate taxi cabs from Martine's Chocolates to the locally made mini-bourbon bottles from Cacao Prieto to the mini black and white cookie favors from One Girl Cookies, no detail was left untouched. Matthew Robbins even made a bouquet using the state flower (roses), and classic New York wedding cake baker Sylvia Weinstock baked and presented the cake for our bride. We were honored and thrilled to be part of their New York City wedding! They enjoyed the party and stayed through the very end—only to leave for their wedding night at the classic Carlyle Hotel.
The talented photographer Donna Newman captured the event in the photo galleries below. Enjoy!

9 New York cake baker Sylvia Weinstock came to cut the cake she created for the couple with a Martha Stewart cake knife.
10 Lisa wore classic Tiffany Legacy Collection® earrings in platinum with diamonds, borrowed from the flagship New York Tiffany & Co. store.
11 Alex wore a Classima collection Baume & Mercier watch. It is a traditional gift for a groom on his wedding day.
12 Edible white Empire State Buildings for the bride and groom, and taxis by Martine’s Chocolates are the perfect party favor for a NYC-inspired wedding.
13 Another great favor: Black and white cookies (a New York classic) in boxes inspired by a New York taxi cab from One Girl Cookies.
17 The New York state flower (roses) was included in the bouquet wrapped by a black and white checkered ribbon insipired by checkered cabs. Bouquet by Matthew Robbins. At the end of the evening, the bride tossed the bouquet and the girl who caught it won dinner for two at the classic New York restaurant Le Cirque.
22 The groom wore Daniel Cremieux for Dillard's, and the boutonniere was created by contributing editor Matthew Robbins.
23 At our NYC headquarters on 26th street (perfect for their 26th wedding!) Martha and I officiated the ceremony.

Beautiful dress! And the first photo of them kissing in front of the Empire State Building is New York perfection.
