In our Fall issue, Cassidy put together one of my favorite stationery stories. Five unique suites all kitted out with awesome props. I popped by the photo studio the day before to check it all out in person, and was truly inspired. We were talking about the props she'd use and I said I'd dig around my apartment to see if there were any other items that she might be able to use (it's always nice having options).
Ater the shoot wrapped, I went back to collect my wares only to discover that of the few pieces I brought in, the lone item that was shot was a small photograph from my grandparents' wedding. (It's tucked into the pink book in the photo from our story.) The strangest thing was that I hadn't told Cassidy anything about their nuptials, and the invite she paired it with boasted the identical location at which they tied the knot back in the 1940s, The Pierre. The petite portrait (above) went back to its frame and special spot on display in my apartment.
