I don't know why I'm so obsessed with soap these days. Maybe it's nostalgia, reminding me of the Ivory bars of my youth. Or, maybe it's just me wanting to lather away this end-of-summer humidity. Either way, soap is awesome, makes a great guest gift, and is here to stay. Seriously. Ivory has been around for over 125 years, and it's still kickin' (check out its sweet Facebook page).
Over on Design Love Fest, super cute soaps were featured by Etsy vendor SoulSisterSoaps (see below). But, I've got to say, these would be SO easy to package yourself. Buy soap slabs in bulk, wrap them up with white parchment paper, and secure them with washi tape. Place them at each guest's seat, and viola! Do you think you'll try it?
