It might not feel like fall yet, but once the weather gets chilly, I will be warming up with this hot apple cider cocktail. A generous splash of bourbon or dark rum gives the farmhouse staple kick, while fragrant allspice berries create a perfectly autumnal flavor. Add a couple of sugared cranberries atop stir sticks, and you have a cocktail fit for a fall or winter wedding. Having children at your wedding? You can also make a kid-friendly version by leaving out the alcohol. Get more signature drink recipes here or see more good things for fall weddings. Cheers!
Hot Apple Cider with Sugared Cranberries (Serves 4)
2 1/4 cups apple cider
2 whole allspice berries
3 ounces bourbon or dark rum
Sugared cranberries (recipe here)
Directions: Bring cider and allspice to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat and cover. Let stand 10 minutes. Skim foam and strain, discarding the allspice. Ladle 1/2 cup hot cider into each mug, and add 3/4 ounce bourbon or dark rum. Garnish each glass with two sugared cranberries skewered on a stir stick.

I am extremely impressed together with your writing abilities as neatly as with the format on your weblog.
Is this a paid subject or did you customize it your self?
Either way stay up the nice quality writing, it is
uncommon to see a nice weblog like this one these days..
