1 Sadah Saltzman, a hair stylist and makeup artist at NYC'c Salon AKS, was on hand to perfect our model's hair and makeup.
2 How gorgeous are these wavy tendrils?
3 After twisting back two strands and securing them with a bobby pin, Sadah covered the pin by sweeping a lock over it. She pinned that hair in place from underneath.
4 Using only the middle section of the model's hair, Sadah created a low bun. Then, she spiraled the loose strands around it for extra texture and dimension.
5 It was a little chilly on set, so the model slipped on a tuxedo shirt from our wardrobe closet.

9 We called in a ton of hair accessories so we had plenty to chose from. Above the pretties are our hair style inspiration images.
10 I thought this pastel headband from Jenny Packham was so lovely.
11 Regina B. has some of the best combs around. This mother of pearl flower one caught my eye.
12 Headpieces are all the rage right now. This one, from Untamed Petals, was a favorite.
13 Colette Malouf had some leather flower clips that I thought would be perfect for a fall wedding. Wouldn't they look pretty in your bridesmaids' hair?
14 Our photographer, Bryan Gardner, brought in treats from his recent wedding. His mother made these tasty bars, and they were absolutely delicious.
15 To get just the right blob of makeup, we have to do many, many versions. Aren't they all so cool?

17 Melissa Colgan, our senior associate fashion editor, has the steadiest hands around (and is an ace decanter!).
