Love it! Monogrammed Lace

Posted by

Looking for inspiration online is easy when you have a short list of phenomenal blogs to check on the daily. Lately, I've been looking no further than From Me To You, the photoblog of the adorable Jamie Beck, who chronicles her creative life living and working with her equally creative husband, Kevin Burg. Jamie has been the brains behind some of my favorite fashion photos and cinemagraphs (cinema+photos=cinemagraphs).

Recently, the couple posted some photos of their nuptials at Manhattan's Carlyle Hotel that were far too stunning to ignore. Jamie wore a romantic silk and chiffon and French lace gown custom designed for her by friend and supertalent Katie Ermilio, who personalized her look in the most delicate and thoughtful of ways: monogrammed lace. While something this subtle does not necessarily scream personalization at first glance, sometimes the most sentimental fashion moments are best kept truly personal. The designer embroidered J&K into the pattern of Jamie's veil for her to enjoy on her special day. If you are on the hunt for a sentimental way to make your wedding day look your own without coming off as branded as your handbag, opt for this feminine route!
