Love It! Bell Jar Centerpieces

I recently spotted some cool DIY centerpieces from a real wedding and just had to share! Bride Robin Schwadron worked with the owner of Silver and Sage Flowers to create glass terrariums (above) to dot her reception tables. The modern arrangements looked so neat in the rustic barn setting at Bittersweet Farms in Westport, MA.

I asked her to tell us how she made 'em so you could try them out yourself:

"All of the cloches were purchased at random houseware stores for about 8 months, and we also collected the hobnail milk glass for our succulents from antique shops. I had originally selected pink peonies [for the cloches], but since they were out of season, the florist suggested English roses to mimic peonies. For the straight cloches we did one rose with moss, and for the bell shaped ones we had room to add a few more flowers, so we went with spider mums, freesia, mini button mums, and white stephanotis."

Want to submit your wedding photos and see them on the blog? See how here.

  • This was a beautiful wedding. Robin's ideas for decorating her wedding were amazing and truly unique. You could see the guests walking around the entire venue exploring every tiny detail as if they were in an art museum. We all appreciated how special Robin made this wedding, not only for themselves, but also for their guests.

  • Robin is amazing-
Her attention to detail is always apparent! I knew her wedding would be the piece de resistance.

    xoxo Robin and Stu!

  • Everything was simply beautiful! It was not the normal hum drum wedding decor but very elegant with a twist of funkiness! And the colors were perfect - especially for a summer wedding! Robin was gorgeous too as if out of a fairy tale & the bridesmaids dresses were probably the most beautiful color green I have ever seen. She thought of everything down to every unique detail!
