I admit: I am an Anglophile. I love everything about British culture from Jane Austen, to Liberty of London, to Prince Harry, to tea time! (Hence, the references to Kate Middleton in my posts. I can't help it—she just always looks so darn fabulous!) This year, between the London Olympics, the Diamond Jubilee, and Downton Abbey, I am in heaven! So—surprise!—today's color palette is inspired by one of my favorite London neighborhoods, Kensington. With its crisp white townhouses, perfectly manicured gardens, and lovely boutiques, the Kensington inspired this slate, white, and cream color scheme. To use it for your big day, keep the decor light and airy and throw in touches of gray on the invitations and signage. Add a prim beaded collar to your ensemble, and of course, no British wedding is complete without a playful fascinator!
