Personalizing R.S.V.P.s

Posted by

I'm always excited to receive a wedding invitation—so much so, that, unless the invite is very formal, I don't just check a box when I send in my R.S.V.P. If there's room on the reply card, I like to add a little personal message, doodle, or some other handmade touch that will let the bride and groom know how much I am looking forward to their big day.

Even better is a reply card that invites conversation, like the ones above from Robin and Matt's wedding. Their cards had blank speech bubbles on them that inspired creative responses from guests. With this idea, even a "no" could elicit a smile. And once all of the cards have been collected, they'd could be turned into a fun scrapbook. What do you think?
