I was floored by these portraits of Jennifer and Matt by photographer Roey Yohai. Why? Because they turned The Wynwood Walls, vibrant walls located on NW Second Avenue in the warehouse district of Miami, into artsy photo backdrops. The couple set aside 1 1/2 hours before the ceremony at The National Hotel in South Beach, to take photos with their party at their favorite mural-covered walls. The bold colors and up-for-anything group, looked like they belonged on the cover of a record album. At one point a woman pulled over to alert the couple that three muralists were hard at work just around the corner, so they hightailed it over there (even though the bride was in 6-inch heels) and seized the moment by posing with spray cans, ladders, and a cherry-picker lift. Jennifer and Matt loved the graffiti-covered area so much they hosted their rehearsal dinner at Wynwood Kitchen & Bar, too. To find out more about this cool place, check out this video.
By the way, the bride wore Vera Wang, her girls wore Amsale gowns, the bouquets were by Fleurish Design, hair was by Oribe Salon, makeup was by Jeannie Vincent and Elenne Hurley, and the wedding was coordinated by Jessica Masi of JCG Events.
